About Emcee
Emcee is a free daily mini crossword from Source of Truths. Say the name fast and you’ll hear the initials — M.C. — because that’s all it is: a proper mini crossword, five squares by five, with numbered Across and Down clues and a timer that only stops when the grid is right.
The words are everyday words and the clues play fair, so most grids fall in a minute or two — the game is speed and cleanliness. The grid checks itself when the last square lands: wrong squares flash red and each failed check counts against you on the leaderboard, where ties break on fewest checks and then fastest time.
